Something I might recommend doing (for practice). Is to take a photo with a tablet and just draw over the image breaking it down seeing what shapes make up the body. Most of the time you'll notice it's very smooth when drawing females. (You can do this even with tracing paper over magazines, ads, etc.)
All of this being said is just throw away stuff. There is no telling how much I did like this then just threw it out. Way too much! But it helps
With expressions, or life in your drawings. Do the same thing! Disney characters, Don Bluth, etc. anything animated that has great expressions. See what they do. But don't claim it as your own. Like I mentioned it's just throw away junk.
By doing this you'll kinda train yourself mentally how the pros do it. Then you can move to drawing your own stuff and you will see improvements (albeit sometimes small) over time if you keep it up. I guarantee it!!
which program you use to do the inking?
reason being, is the program has a stabilizer function to where it slows down your brush strokes. There by making the lines smoother and more crisp. I really like the look of clean lines.
